Do I need an account to use Meraky?

No. The app is yours the moment you install it — the whole library lives in a database on your phone and every screen works signed out. An account exists for one reason: to carry that library onto your next phone.

What does the subscription actually buy?

Cloud backup and restore. Your library and its covers are backed up when you put the app down, and merged back when you sign in on a new phone. Everything else — logging books, reading sessions, notes, feelings, insights, both keepsakes — is free forever, works offline and does not expire. An account is free too; it is only the copy kept off your phone that costs anything.

How much does it cost?

$19 a year, and that is only for cloud backup — the app and every screen in it are free with no account at all. If you subscribe and change your mind you can have your money back within 14 days.

Is there an iPhone version?

Not yet. Meraky is on Android today and iPhone is next — leave your email and you will hear from us once, when it is out.

What happens to my books if I stop paying?

Nothing. The library is on your phone and stays there, readable and editable. Only the off-device backup stops.
